Spousal Sponsorship applied but want to enter canada to visit while working

Background: I am an Indian Citizen, currently in US on Student Visa and also a spouse of a Canadian Permanent Resident. I also have Visitor's visa for Canada. My wife has recently sponsored my application to Canada (under Spouse outside Canada section) but my guess is that that might take anywhere up to a year. As for my work experience, I have 1.5 years of Entrepreneurial experience and 1 year academic work experience and almost a year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer in the USA.

I have a few questions regarding LMIA exempt work permit - How long does it usually take to process and what are the eligibility criteria to classify yourself as an entrepreneur? Specifically, are there any capital requirements or any requirements that are not mentioned on the site and if anyone has done it, were there any hurdles? Also, will it benefit me if my wife is permanent resident living in Canada?

PS: I tried applying for express entry but I am not eligible for that. IELTS score - 8,8.5, 8.5 and 9 in Speaking, Reading, Writing and Listening respectively

if your wife is a Canadian PR living inside Canada and has submitted your spousal sponsorship application........you just need to be patient......when approved you will become a PR in Canada and can work for any employer.

spousal sponsorship process completion time varies depending on the Visa Office and on a case basis.......will advice you assume process completion takes 12months to help reduce the waiting stress.......relax.....its a wait game.
