Hello.
So me and my Canadian girlfriend started dating online about 3 years ago, we first met last summer in my country that i reside in which is Tunisia and we stayed together for 40 days, and now we're planning on meeting again in the Philippines to get married and then apply for the spousal sponsorship program.
But i feel like the visa officer wont be convinced of the genuineness of our relationship even if we provide these types of evidence: (pictures of us with family, of us alone, western union receipts of her sending money to me, future photos of the wedding, more of us being together in the Philippines, printed screenshots of our online conversations and video calls for the period of time where we werent together in real life, printed copies of the rent contracts of where we stayed.) She is still living with her parent in Canada and we have future plans to move out as soon as i get my application approved and get there.

So, is my application strong enough to convince a VO or there are some factors that can get it refused, if yes can you please help me with mentioning them and how / what to do to improve them ?

Thank you in advance.

Hi

Very little time in person and getting married on the second visit are red flags.

What are your ages, religions, cultures, education levels?

If you want to make your app stronger, spend more time in person before marrying and applying.

We're both 20, not religious, she's Philipino but lived in canada since age 6, im a tunisian citizen, going to graduate this june from college and she's still in college.

We're just a young couple with huge energy and love for each other and the fact that we both shared the same perspective on everything for more than 3 years we are deeply motivated for independence and starting our lives and careers together, and maybe even starting a family someday, But this barrier isnt doing is any good and we want to overcome it

Assuming you guys communicate in English? No language barrier?

You say not religious. The majority of Tunisia is Muslim and marrying outside of Islam is generally frowned upon, so it is a red flag to IRCC. Are you Muslim? If so, how does your family feel about your relationship with a non-Muslim?

As I said, the best thing that you can do is spend more time together in person before marrying.

No language barrier, we communicate in English all the time.
Tunisia is not a conservative country, its true that the majority of the population here are muslim but Christians exists, Jewish people, atheists, all coexist peacefully with no conflict. My family approves of my marriage because like i said, we are not conservative muslims.
Also do you have any ideas about the conjugal sponsorship process?

You don't have immigration barriers that prevent you fro, being together so conjugal doesn't apply. Given your young age, different religions and lack of time together there will definitely be red flags. Do you have enough savings to support yourselves? That is another concern that will come up even if family says they will support you. Would encourage you to spend more visits together before getting married. Just a good idea in general but definitely for immigration reasons. Getting married at 20 is considered very young in Canada.

Will there be families of both sides attending your wedding in Philippines ?

A side note, you do know that there is no or very hard to get divorce in the Philippines.
So be very sure of your relationship before you commit to marriage.
Did her family moved back to the Philippines? Is that the reason to have the wedding there?

It's a bit strange not to have the wedding in your home country nor in her current residing country (Canada but I think you don't have a visitor visa?)
