Spousal sponsorship and previous express entry application

Hi folks,

My wife is an engineer, currently not practicing. We are living together here home in Canada.

While we were dating, I strongly suggested her to apply for the Express Entry and she did. Her application has expired and she has not file a new Express Entry application.

My concern is, we will be filing an outland application, most likely. Would this be a red flag when I file a spousal sponsorship application because my wife has filed an Express Entry application in the past?

No issue if your wife had previous applied for express entry as long as you can show that you are in a real relationship.

Yeah, she has a visitor visa
