Hi all, I'm about to send in our sponsorship package, but have a small concern.

I am a born in Canada citizen. I am inadmissible to the US, because of my own family starting a sponsor process for me 5 years ago. For personal reasons we cancelled the process, but the US, to this day still considers me an intending immigrant and will not allow me entry.

I lived in the US for 6 months and two weeks, 5 years ago, so I should put that on the sponsor questionnaire (form imm5540)?

Aside from that period in the US, I've spent my entire life in Canada, and the last 3 years at one job in Canada.

My question is on form imm1344 "Are you the subject of a report on inadmissibility". Do I check yes? Or does the question pertain to admissibility to Canada, and I should check no?

Reading that, within the context of the other questions, I believe that it pertains only to Canada, and therefore I personally would answer "no".

As zardoz mentioned above. I also think it more related to PRs sponsoring their spouse. Since you are Canadian yourself, it doesn't apply to you. So you check off "no"
