Hi Everyone,

I am in need of help and some advice, My spouse and I (sponsor) submitted our spousal application in March of this year online using the PR portal since then it has been returned 3 times. it wasn't until yesterday when it was returned for the third time that I realized that we submitted it under the wrong class and it kept getting sent to the wrong office and there is no option to change this online. I am not sure how to go about submitting If I just start a new application and reupload all the previous documents and receipt of payment or there is a way to rectify this. as everything else on our application was deemed completed except for the documents concerning the address and if he's been to Canada etc which he hasn't of course so it doesn't line up with the inland submission.

If you ran into this problem please let me know what you did or if you have advice/suggestions would be much appreciated
 
For outland, be sure to select Family class (outside Canada). If you kept reusing the same application and fixing, it will always be sent to the wrong office so it's best to start a new one, make sure to select the right options then reupload documents/fill out forms/resubmit the payment proof.

Hi, Thank you for your response my spouse lives in their home country outside of Canada, But I mistakenly put inland, I have now taken your advice and started a new one.
