Hey
I'm a Canadian citizen and my husband is living in South Africa on asylum papers valid for till march 2018.
I've put my application forms in February 2016. And still waiting for approval we just had a baby and finically I can't make a trip to South Africa. It's hard but is there anyway I could get a visitors or something temporary for him to come visit or stay till he can get a PR even thought he doesn't have a South Africa passport.
Please help in anyway or form to help me speed up my prosses or a number I can call or contact as in what's going on with my application. I've checked online and it's been in the same state since Feburay medical has been revived and police background checks.

Unfortunately there is no way to speed up the PR application process. If you would like to know the status of your application, you can try sending a case specific inquiry to the visa office.

He can certainly apply for a TRV so that he can visit Canada. Unfortunately it will most likely be refused due to his asylum status in South Africa.
