Hi, I'm a Canadian citizen and my wife is an Indian citizen. I was recently laid off and I'm looking for a new job at the moment. We wanted to apply for a spousal PR but are unsure if my situation will cause an issue. Does anyone know if they require payslips as part of the application? If anyone has experience in such a case that would be very helpful.

As long as you can show you can financially support your family it is fine. You can also update your application when employed again.
