I currently work full time in tech, but my crs score is low (below 450 but higher than 400) mostly due to my education ( 1 yr college), and as it stands, I don't know when IRCC will get to scores below 480.
I got married recently and my wife is a citizen (naturalized), and we have been advised to do spousal sponsorship. But there are two problems:
1. She goes to school, and I work (open work permit since I went to school here), so how will she "sponsor" me if I am the one working?
2. Her citizenship certificate is stolen/lost/damaged before she could get her passport. How do we navigate through this issue? We intend to apply for a replacement, but we don't have any idea of how long it might take. Someone advised that we can apply for the spousal sponsorship with the confirmation letter we get after applying for the replacement, and include a letter of explanation.
What do you guys recommend?
