Hi All,

Would appreciate if you can share your knowledge regards to applying for spousal open work permit 2nd time before receiving AOR. Actually I applied first time and refused, now going to attach more documentary proofs of expenses and events pictures etc.

If the OWP application was not submitted alongside the PR application, you will need to wait until AOR is received to apply for the OWP. The PR application is what makes you eligible to apply for the OWP, so if the OWP application is not sent with the PR application, you need to wait until you receive AOR so that your PR application is in the system and they can see you are eligible to apply.

Is this a Family Class sponsorship app?

Thanks for the update. In PR application I added spousal information but not submitted OWP app along with PR, while in SINP application my status was single. Do you think it will make me eligible because as i heard then i have to wait till PR Nomination.

its spousal open work permit application.

This is the Family Class section of the forum, for Canadian citizens/PRs sponsoring their family members. If you are not already a PR and sponsoring your spouse, you are posting in the wrong section of the forum and need to move to the EE or PNP section.
