Spousal Open Work Permit-recently got married

Hi there,

I was an international student but now I am an open work permit holder (post-secondary work permit). Recently I got married to my husband here in Canada (we've been in long distance relationship for 3 years: he was in China and I studied in CAN) and I am thinking to sponsor him to apply for an open work permit. My question is:

What documents are needed to prove our relationship? Is the marriage certificate enough? Since we were having a long distance relationship, I am concerned about if it will make officers feel suspicious?
