Spousal open work permit - program expires 31st of January?

Hi,

Has anybody been able to find out what will happen' with Spousal OWP program after 31st of January, since the program has not been extended yet?

Also, can somebody tell me, if I am married to a Canadian citizen and I applied for PR, Inland program, if I have a job offer does my employer still need LMAI for me if i am applying for employer specific work permit?

It will likely be extended again.

Yes, your employer would need an LMIA for you to apply for a closed work permit.

I hope it will be extended again, I am afraid what will happen if my application return after January 31 ._.
I have my TRV till end of May. If the application returned, I can resubmit my OWP again since I still have my status. However, don't know if this will be extended or not, hopefully yes!
