I'm currently studying in the US (international student) and I'm applying for a spousal OWP to move to Canada (where my wife is) once I'm done. I have a couple of confusion regarding the application procedure and was hoping someone will be able to help:
1. I already have a Canadian visitor visa. Do I still have to submit the 'New york visa office instructions' checklist? Also, this checklist asks for a CV. Is there a specific format for the CV that I should follow? Info about this checklist is very hard to come by.
2. The application asks if I've had any post-secondary education. I'm currently working towards a Ph.D. but it won't be done until the first half of next year. So, do I mention the Ph.D. without an end date or do I mention my current highest-level degree ( which is a master's)?
3. How do I prove my country ties? I've been in the US for 4 years now. And I'm afraid that it would seem like I'm looking for a place to immigrate to.
