Hi ,

my inland pr is at background /final steps before ecopr portal email!

All done: aor, biometrics, medical , AIP, spousal approve

Since I now have AIP but I am out of status, can I legally stay until i have PR right?

Also im out of 90 days to apply for restoration . Can i still apply for OWP in this case?

Hi! When did you apply for PR? I see currently people who applied early July are getting portal 1 emails.

Yes, you should be okay applying for work permit if needed since you have AIP.

Hi, you can apply for your OWP and it's actually encouraged because technically you're still out of status, but your sponsorship application protects you from any removing proceedings.

You’re good !

Early May 2025 or May 2024?

If May 2025!, I would suggest applying for a work permit to be on the safe side with immigration and also mind you the process for family sponsorship is now taking longer than anticipated due to reduced PR quotas.
Early May 2025

I applied PR in March/28
my sponsor got a letter "CPCM / CTDM - Inland SCLP AOR Letter ap nr"
I did not receive AOR and I wasn't sure about the above bcz my sponsor did not send me the email but just the letter so no idea how a AOR looks like,
I never received any msg saying my application is complete,
then by July/07 I did apply for visitor extension to maintain status
July/20 I got Bio request
August/09 I receive AIP/eligible, so as my sponsor
now I want to apply SOWP but I haven't receive the extension yet (I'm implied status) when I enter on CIC to start WP I've asked to provide when my status will expire and I do not know when, if I provide the original expire date it will tell I'm out-of-status and offer me to restore it by paying $239, does anyone has been through something similar and could tell me?

Very weird that you are not referring to a sponsor and not a spouse/partner. If you are living together in Canada why would your partner/spouse not be showing you any emails or online files they have access to?

Hi everyone,

IRCC requested many documents for adding my spouse (IMM 0008, IMM 5406 for both, passport, marriage certificate, relationship proof, photos, etc.) with a 30-day deadline.

However, in my GCKey portal I can only see three upload fields (Schedule A, Police Certificate, Additional Family Information). There is no option to upload the remaining documents.

Has anyone faced this before? Did you upload the rest through IRCC webform, or did you wait for further instructions from IRCC?

Any experience or advice would be really appreciated.

Thanks!

Does it protect after a removal letter/order/proceedings?
No. Once a person is deemed to be `Removal Ready', the Public Policy that waives the requirement to have legal status (for an Inland applicant) does not apply.

Not true. The Public Policy (for Inland applicants) only waives the requirement to have legal status. it does NOT protect, or otherwise guarantee that the person will be allowed to remain in Canada.

you are right! sorry about that, mate. I think I meant to say or should've said that the chances of removal are fairly low unless the applicant is removal-ready or inadmissible for reasons other than simply lacking status.
