Spousal immigration period

Hi i am
New to this forum my question is i need to ask about my immigration period time I got my application number after one week of submitting application. How long is the process now kindly guide me

For us to help you we need more info! Did you apply outland, or inland? What country are you from? Who is sponsoring you, or are you sponsoring someone?

Current PR application average processing time is 19 months. It should be noted that statistic is from June 30 2016, and spans all Family Sponsorship Class types (in and outland). For inland it's 22 months average; for outland it's 16 months average.

Outland is where the person is not applying from within Canada (the application can still technically be submitted from within Canada, but it will be processed at a visa office designated to handle cases for Pakistan -- at this point in time I believe that is London, UK). This one is faster usually, but you may have to live apart.

Inland is where the principal applicant intends to stay in Canada while the application is being processed. This application has the advantage that you are supposed to live together in Canada, and the principal applicant is entitled to apply for an open work permit, so they can work while the application is in process.
