Hi,

To all Decision made Persons

Well i have compared a lot of data from previous members and current members who have got their PPR, and i came to conclusion that it takes between 5 to 25 days normally (and some rare times 45 days) to get PPR after Decision Made.
I am in the same boat as you guys and my humble opinion is to wait at least 25 days before contacting CIC (by e-mail or by MP) as it will only delay ppr. And pray to God that it comes sooner than expected. May Allah helps us all and unite us with our Loved ones as soon as possible.

* To everone waiting for PPR or Just Got PPR

Starting February 2015 , CIC has changed the rule to send passport through courier and they are now only recommending the use of VAC (Visa Application Center ) to send passport to CHC Islamabad.

Hi,

Steps to be prepared To be ready to deal with PPR:

1. You should fill : Updated information chart appendix A Form (Which will be Sent in PPR)
*note : Do fill the same info as you filled in your spousal app
It only asks for first and last name, passport number, height in cms, passport expiry date, eye color, native language, email, address, telephone numbers of everyone that the passport is being submitted for.

2. Get 2 white background passport pics ready with name and D.O.B typed, written or printed on the back
3. Get 2 Passport Copies, 2 N.i.C Copies Ready.
4. Get The Concerning VAC address and Get to know how to find the address.

Hi,

The Return of Passport with Visa Time Varies from case to case and person to person.

But roughly It Takes between 15 to 45 days to get your Passport Back from CHC Islamabad.

I have created this estimate based upon considering around 100 profiles of our forum members and their timeline.

I hope this info help you prepare better for the wait.

NICOP (National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis) is a registration document to be issued to a valid/legitimate citizen of Pakistan. It is issued to overseas Pakistanis working/living/staying/studying abroad for consecutive time period of six months.

Mine changed on 10 Feb, and be patient and keep praying, its the last stretch, i can see the light at the end of dark tunnel of Long distance Marriage. Lets hope all of our waits end soon. In sha Allah very soon

Great, thanks for pointing that out, I have been preparing to do that already, I will soon post the whole procedure of getting your degrees attested, verified and getting them ready for WES(World Education Center) Canada assessment for further studies or getting job in the respected fields. Just want to get some traffic to this thread first.
