Hello everybody,

My wife and I are currently in the process of relocating from France to NB, Canada.

I got my Canadian PR in Nov. 2016 ; Do you know how long It would take to get her an open work permit, while her PR is reviewed by the immigration department?

If I got it right, the idea is to get a tourist visa while crossing the border and then get it upgraded to open work permit.

I have heard that It might take 4-5 months but I'd be happy to get your reviews.

Yes I think if you’re lucky it’s 3-4 months.
