Spousal application/ File transferred to Mississauga instead of Delhi

Hi,

My application was received on January 29. AOr March 11, SA March 12, Medical request March 12, Medical done March 20, File transferred to Mississauga March 20.

Does the file transferred to Mississauga means that it will be processed at a faster speed and it will not be transferred to Delhi or it can be still be transferred to Delhi. I tried to attach the file to gckey but unable to do so. Will the requests for biometrics show in ecas. Haven't received the biometrics request.

Also, how much mimimum and maximum time I should expect now for PPR and AOR 2.

In general, Mississauga is a lot quicker than the big, congested VO's (like London or New Delhi). CIC are going through a phase at the moment of diverting stuff to Mississauga - presumably to try to relieve pressure on the offshore VO's. No guarantee Mississauga will not ultimately forward on to Delhi, but I would certainly see this as a good sign for a speedier processing if Mississauga retain it.

Hi, Just wanted to know a piece of information, when I had initially called IRCC, they had mentioned that PA's application was at CPC Ottawa but now the sponsor has received an email stating that the application is in CPC Mississauga - what does this signify?
