I am still in India and have applied for OWP along with my daughter's TRV. My husband is in Newfoundland and Labrador working as a Lecturer (NOC B). We have submitted his bank statement and mine along with his pay slips, 2 years contract, LMO,Closed Work permit, agriculture land, rental income, jewelry and other property documents that we own. It has been complete two weeks now and no update so far.

Hi summer waiting for the letter from my employer, stating that my employer can provide a job for my wife when she was here in Canada as open work permit holder i think it will be more helpful for success full application next weak it will be done then i will apply. Did u got any reply from NDVO.

We have been applied for opw on 19 Nov Monday to NDVO, hoping to get our application to be processed soon and successful. is there any reply back from the NDVO.

it has been exactly one month for me now but so far no response from the CHC guys!

Hi Guys,
I have applied and got my Student Visa .
My wife applied for OWP along with my application on 15-Nov-2012.
My time lines were as below..
Applied for Student visa - 15-Nov-2012
Passport sent back for Medicals - 22-Nov-2012
Passport re-sent with Medicals - 26-Nov-2012
Student Visa received on 05-Dec-2012

Now I am checking for my wife's visa status on the website and its unchanged till now..tried to contact Delhi embassy..and they don't give out any info about the progress on the application..
I am wondering whether my wife's application would only have been considered after my visa was stamped or it must have been pre-processed and it will go for further processing after my visa approval..
Hoping to get her visa stamped soon...

no update yet..but on the medical request that i had got ..it was mentioned that Medical test will be required only for the principal applicant..so not sure whats happening..
