Hello all,

My PGWP expires on August 10th 2015 - upon seeking advice from an immigration lawyer I will be applying for PR through spousal sponsorship (rather than CEC or PNP).

I will likely be applying to London due to its relatively short processing time.

Some questions:
1. any advice in relation to filling the application form?
2. Am I permitted to apply for a bridge permit while waiting for PR (in case there is a delay?
3. Am I correct in applying outland rather than inland?

Best,
Padraic

1 - Need to be more specific
2 - No that doesn't exist with outland application. But if you are married or common-law and apply soon, you should be approved well before Aug 2015, In case you aren't, you need to stop working when your PGWP expires.
3 - Yes.

Don't use a lawyer as you can do all the forms easily enough yourself. And make sure you are using the latest rev level of forms, don't leave any gaps in history, and sign in all places you need to!
Outland forms/guide is here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp
