My wife got admission into masters programme at RRU BC recently and we are about to apply for student visa very soon.
Her father has agreed to take full financial responsibilities as her financier and sponsorer

My worries or concern is that as her spouse ,I hope she won't be denied visa because I'm not the sponsor. Does it really matters that I'm not res

Why should her visa be denied because you aren't the sponsor? What difference does that make??

well, sponsor is related to the student so it should not be problem. Just make sure to provide all details of his income, source of funds in his acct, income tax filing, etc.
