Hi, I have questions About a month ago, I spoke to an agent from an immigration agency. My situation is I’m planning to sponsor my boyfriend of 3 years to come in Canada, but the problem is he’s still legally married in the Philippines. They’re no longer living together, no contact and no children, they’ve separated for 7 years. According to the agent it’s doable to sponsor him as long as we can provide a legal document stating they’re separated and etc. The agent mentioned to file LEGAL SEPARATION or ANNULMENT CASE.. So at the moment we don’t know of what to do, which one to file. There’s no divorce in the Philippines. Annulment Case takes years and cost a lot of money, but I don’t know anything about LEGAL SEPARATION CASE
