I`ve been married to a Canadian for the past 4 years and two months ago we sent all hte documentation in order to receive the permanent residency. So far we have not receive any reply from the CIC. We are currently living in south america.

Do you know how long does it take for the CIC to contact you via email after receiving the papers for the first time?
