hI..

I applied for sponshorship PR visa last year(My canadian boyfriend sponsors me), and I got a confirmation of permanent residence letter from the embassy that I should enter Canada before Sep 26 otherwise it will be expired and I should reapply for immigration.
My question is that if I enter Canada before Sep 26, how long should I stay there at least to get a real PR? I have something to be done in my country so I can't stay in Canada longer.

Enter Canada before September 26. When you do so, you will use your PR visa and will have 'landed'. You will then be a 'real' PR. You can then leave Canada (for a while). The gov't will send your PR card to the address you give them - it has to be in Canada, so if you leave before it arrives, you can get someone at that address to remail it to you.
You have to stay in Canada 2 years out of every 5 to remain a PR.
