Sponsorship PR to spouse rejected

Hi Folks,

I have applied spouse family sponsorship PR on october 1,2019 and still i havent received application number. i have contacted CIC customer representative last week , he mentioned the file was sent back due to incomplete details on Nov 18 which means 3 months ago. But unfortunately i havent received file. i have submitted letter to CIC through webforms about the situation but they replied with standard email "Furthermore, we can confirm that you have no application in process. Your application was returned to you as incomplete or lost in the mail."

Do anyone faced this situation?

It happens - you were missing signatures or forms.

Are you in Canada? The package should have been returned to you by now. If you're not in Canada, it could take much longer.

Sometimes it has taken three months for an application to be returned.

You'll need to resubmit regardless what happens. I would start putting together the new application package now and hope you get the returned one back within a couple of weeks so that you know where you went wrong and can fix in the resubmission.

I went out for a vacation from Nov 30-Jan 10, they mentioned file was sent back on Nov 18. I have contacted canada post regarding the packet, they mentioned they will return to sender if no one is picked.
so i have contacted CIC again to check if they can send it back, but unfortunately they dont have the file

Thank you for the response. It makes sense to re-apply again. i have started collecting documents and i have noticed that my wife date of birth was masked which might be the reason, but i just want to confirm if this is the case do they return whole document or just ask the document again?
