Sponsorship Of Visitor Visa

Good Afternoon,

I have some friends in the Philippines who have never been to Canada yet would love the opportunity.

The challenge is however, financially, they are unable to afford or provide financial documents that would otherwise allow them to come to Canada as they have no money.

My thoughts are I would like to bring over one of my friends and am prepared to sponsor them as well as provide all of the financial requirements to support the Visitor Visa as well as a return ticket for a stay in Canada of 3 months approximately - either for the summer or fall months.

My costs for this would be minimal ( the major cost would be for the flight as they would be staying with me during their stay so no hotel costs. )

There is no relationship connection other than we are friends and I will also be travelling to the Philippines in March 2020 - so I am wondering if this is even possible as I noticed most of the " sponsorship " items indicated there needed to be a relationship of some kind?

My friends have families and there is no issue ensuring they will be returning as well as I will be providing for the return tickets and all expenses while in Canada

Pretty much no chance of approval. You could change your mind about financing their trip after they come here and there is no way to enforce your promise to pay for them, leaving them stranded here with no money. Also, no money generally means no solid job, no assets, no strong ties etc. A 3 month trip also indicates no strong ties.
