Sponsorship from Friend!!!

I heard that if you have friends,who are living outside of Toronto then they can apply for your sponsorship.
But we need 2 friends from same state.
Is that true?

My father's aunt living in Toronto. Is it possible for them to sponsor me?

sorry - only immediate family members can act as sponsors - and even then there are other restrictions. friends and more distant relatives (father's aunt) cannot sponsor you to come to Canada.
