Hello,
My futur husband has the Canadian citizenship, and i have a student permit. We want to do an inland sponsorship (from canada, quebec) and i would like to know if during this period, i can keep my status as a student and continue my studies? Please i want advises of what can we do to avoid problems that may extend the period of getting my permanent residency.
Thank you!

Yes, you can remain on a study permit while your application for spousal sponsorship is processed. If the permit expires before you're approved you will need to apply to extend your student status or change to visitor status.

Do you know how much it's gonna take to get the PR in this case?

As in, how long? Inland applications tended to take a while before COVID screwed up processing times even further, so it could be many months or even over a year. But you can remain on a study permit as long as it takes. You just need to apply to extend it before it expires.

Inland was approximately 12 months pre-COVID-19.
