Hi!! I am going crazy with this process.
I am from Brazil and my husband from Canada.
We are here and we married to do the Sponsorship. He doesn't work because he had an accident and then he got chronic pain. So, he just has money from his 4plex. It is not enough income. SO, he also didnt do his taxes this year. WE DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO, is missing 20 days to my visa expire, we are married and he dont even have time to do and process the taxes right now. We need send it now.
So, I saw someone saying my parents could make a letter supporting. Is it real?? PLEASE LIGHT. NO TIME ):
going crazy!

There is no income requirement to sponsor a spouse. As long as your spouse isn't on welfare / social assistance, he can sponsor you.

Think the issue is he can't afford to pay taxes because he needs the funds to live on. Likely rental funds exclude him from disability.

IRCC only cares about the sponsors under the following situation:

1. Declared bankruptcy
2. On welfare/social assistant
3. Has more than one dependents other than the Principle Applicant.
4. Among others

Point 3 above refers to the LICO (Low-Income Cut Off) where you need a certain annual income level in order to support your dependants and this list is available online.

In terms of your husband's finances, it's not a concern for IRCC

Given he is not working CIC will want proof about how they will support themselves. Although there is no income requirement you do have to show that you can support yourselves without government help.
