Hi Colleagues,

I paid my full year tuition fee (one-year course) and GIC for my application with the help of my sponsor.

1. Whether I am still required to show sponsor's proof of employment, ITR, affidavit to embassy. Please find my sponsor details below,
He is my relative, who is not from my immediate, but extended family. He resides and work in abroad.

2. I am working in my home country and I have my previous ITR's. whether I can attach these regarding sponsorship proof. My family is established in my home country and property papers are available

Is it recommended to submit my sponsor documents or not ? If not, why and what are the other documents that I can submit. Please provide your insights guys, particularly from anyone who gone through a situation like this. All inputs are welcome :)

Thanks in advance :)

Regards,

Regards,

You need sufficient money to be able to survive during your stay in Canada. If you intend to apply for SDS, you need to pay 1 year tuition fee in advance (which you already have) and purchase a GIC Certificate.

Just to be on the safer side, you may consider showing your account statements too (for miscellaneous expenses and travel expenses). In any ways, adding source of funds documents such as employment documents, payslips and ITR documents is a good practice. It will give the visa officer more details about source of money via which you paid your tuition and purchased GIC.

Sure @sam.devilz19 . I/my family don't have sufficient account balance after paying GIC. Please assist in below queries,

1. As mentioned, In my case, source of fund/sponsorship is from my relative ( cousin ) who is not working in my home country, but in US. Submitting his employment docs/payslips/ITR/affidavit would cause any kind of issues in my application ?

2. I am the sole income earner of my family. I have only my ITR and family properties in home country- can be used as source of fund/sponsor ?

3. My distant relative ( cousin ) who is working in my home country and has required sponsorship documents - can I mention him as my sponsor/source of fund ?

which one of the above is advisable and no risks involved in application terms ?

All inputs are welcome :)

1. To be honest, showing someone other than a blood relative as a sponsor makes it difficult for VIsa Officer to believe you're a bonafide student. But even if you take the risk and show your cousin as your sponsor, you would want to include affidavit of sponsorship from him along with the docs you just mentioned.

2. The family property document and your employment/ITR documents can be attached to show ties/establishment in your home country.
3. Answer to this would apply same as question 1.

I would advise you to attach for documents of the person who paid for your first year tuition and GIC to be trusthful about your application.

Many Thanks @sam.devilz19 :)

These additional documents are contrasting the purpose of SDS. It may raise questions against applicant despite paying fees and GIC, which are actual requirements. Looking for someone who gone through this kind of scenario and how they handled.
