Hello, I have submitted an inland sponsorship application on the 17th of January 2019 and it was returned a couple of days ago for missing proof of income paper with line 150, now my question is do I resubmit the application with the same forms and just add the proof of income? Or I need to refill the applications all over again, since the checklist was highlighted with blue marker on the proof of income part? I am planning to resubmit my application today, do I include the letter that I received for my application return? Do I attach a letter stating that my application was returned? Thanks in advance!

Correct the error, add the proof, reprint the checklist and resubmit. You can include the letter if you wish but it's not required. IRCC’s view will be that this is a brand new application.

Thank you for your reply, in the letter I received it was mentioned that I should use the new checklist dated with (6-2018) I have reprinted that and checked it, now going to the website there is a new checklist dated March 2019, should I use the one dated 6-2018 as they mentioned? Otherwise I will have to refill all the applications according to the new checklist dated March 2019... Thanks again!

In theory, you should always apply with the latest version of the application forms. However, you will probably be ok with version that you have. It might be worth including their letter in that case.

Thank you again for your reply, I have just finished a call with CIC agent, and they have told me that I should use the new updated applications forms, as they will return my application if I use the old ones. I guess it's better to refill and sign the new applications then, thanks again, and I hope this helps someone in the same situation.

Yes, that's the "official" answer. IRCC’s position in the past has been to allow some leeway for applications that are close to the issue of updated forms. Better to be safe, than sorry, I suppose.
