Sponsors wifes signature in IMM 1344AE

My wife is in the Philippines and I am in Canada and I am ready to send in our application and I realize that she needs to sign at the bottom of IMM 1344AE my sponsor application. How can she sign it and get it to me quickly, any ideas ?

I would e-mail her the completed form, have her print it out, sign it, and then mail or courier it to you.

You probably already know this, but just to make sure - the sponsor's application and the applicant's (foreign spouse's) application need to be sent to Mississauga together in the same envelope.

I suppose, but you can fill it out using Adobe Reader and e-mail her the form already filled out.

I don't know if CIC would have a way of finding out she signed the form before it was filled out.

IMM 1344 is a form that requires validation and a barcode. You cannot print it out blank and fill it in later. It must filled in, printed, then signed. You must validate it before printing. This cannot be done on a blank form.

CIC is starting to return applications without properly validated forms and barcodes, so I wouldn't risk it.

This form is not acceptable handwritten. Typed only.

You could fax her the form, have her sign it, and she can fax it back. Make sure to use the highest quality settings. If it's blurry, you will probably have to wait until she can mail you a new form.

maybe I also have a problem... What I did, was I just print out the last page of that form myself and signed it then sent it to my sponsor..
