It is my birthday today and I woke up sad and bitter. I am ashamed of us Vancouver people. We did not deserve to get the Stanley Cup.

Happy Birth Day Habibti !

Thank you Hot-Lier :)

Hi there Sponsors from BC

My wife is from Vancouver BC, too and we're gonna move back there by the end of the year.

Right now we are living in Switzerland and after submitting the application for family sponsor in the beginning of February we got a letter last week already saying the visa is ready to be issued after receiving the final payment.

Just to give some people some hope. It went much faster than expected. However I don't know how big the difference is when you are applying from Switzerland compared to other countries - but I think it makes a difference (sadly).

Actually my husband lives in Azemmour and I know where is Casablanca. I went there so many times. I will be there again next weekend. Rabat received our file on March 31, 2011. My husband went several times to the post office. Nothing! He even checked his spam mailbox. That is weird that they started processing your case right after they received your file. I wrote to them mid-May and in their email they told me that our application was in the waiting queue for review. I guess we will have to be VERY patient. My only concern is that I am much older than my husband and this can cause us some problems...

Of course, our relationship is genuine and real. It is just that I often read that it is a red flag for a visa office when the wife is more older (20 years older) than her husband.

It is so hot these days? Oh! my!!! I remember how hot it was last summer. I dislike the heat, but between the cold and rain in Vancouver and the heat in Morocco, I prefer the last one lol. We are going to spend our first night in Casa, then the second night in Meknes, the 3rd night in Fes and then 2 days and 2 nights in Marrakech. After we are going to rent a villa in Agadir for a full month. Thank so you much for your offer of help! :)
