As to the few bad apples causing a riot downtown, shame on you! It's always a few people making everyone look bad!

A hockey riot happened before in 1994 and now in 2011. Very serious incidents of course, but for anyone new, don't worry. It's not a regular occurrence and you are in no danger unless you are in the middle of the action, best to steer clear of any trouble spots like that.

Vancouver is still one of the greatest cities in the world....except that night...sheesh!

It is my birthday today and I woke up sad and bitter. I am ashamed of us Vancouver people. We did not deserve to get the Stanley Cup.

Hey, if it is any consolation, there are more Canadians on the Boston team than there are on the Vancouver team, so the team with the most Canadians won.
Active roster, Bruins: 23 Canadians, 5 Americans, 7 Europeans;
Canucks: 17 Canadians, 6 Americans, 9 Europeans.
