I am sponsoring my husband who has 3 dependent children that live in the US. They are not coming to Canada since they live with their mother. They will never be coming to Canada. Do I need to make approximately $44,000 a year or do I have to fill out the financial form since it's only for my spouse? What if I don't make enough money, but my spouse who works in the US that I am sponsoring does? Can we use his income? Thanks

There's no income requirement to sponsor a spouse. You just can't be on welfare / social assistance.

But what about the fact that my husband has 3 children living in the US does that make a difference? Is it still no requirement to sponsor a spouse?

There is no minimum income requirement, even if spouse has dependent children.

All of the children must be included in the PR app as non-accompanying dependents. They must all do medical exams as well.
