Hi, I got my Canada PR few years ago and then I moved outside of Canada for almost 3 years. During this 3 years, I met my wife and got married. We decided to move back to Canada. Our plan is me going to Canada first and then submit the spouse application inland. A few questions here. 1. I got the idea that income is not a factor when it comes to sponsoring my wife. So money-wise, what are the requirements? 2. Me and my wife are planning to have a baby (in Canada), is it possible to avoid the CT scan during the process? Thank you!!

1. There are no specific financial requirements, aside from supporting your wife.

2. You cannot avoid the xrays. IRCC will pause your application until the xrays are complete if you cannot complete the sponsorship before the child is delivered.

When did you actually land? You must be compliant with your RO to sponsor. In many provinces your wife will not have healthcare while waiting for PR.
