Children are with and no court custody. Is there going to be any problem when i apply for my husband to be for immigration to Canada since i have no séparation document from my common law? Please help me.. I need to know immediately. Thanks

if you legally marry and provide a marriage certificate, you should be able to sponsor your spouse.......however, refer checklist...section Part B...4. Previous Relationships....

Have you (the sponsor) ever previously been in a common-law relationship....Y/N
You may be asked to provide additional information about previous common-law relationship(s) at a later time.

Its very important that you answer "Yes".....although its not mandatory you include any documentation regarding previous common-law relationship as at the time you submit the spousal sponsprship.....will advice that you provide a note to explain your previous common-law relationship.

Spousal Sponsorship Checklist.
