Sponsoring spouse - Confused about documents and how to prove relationship

Hello,

I am sponsoring my wife and we are confused.

It is in our culture to marry within the family so I had known her since our childhood so for questions where its asking if she had met any close relatives or friends other than aunt, uncle, brother etc do I mention my parents and the date she met as her birthday?

Since this was an arranged marriage can we show the call logs etc from the time we got engaged about a year and half back?


we will be submitting the call logs, whatsapp messages, engagement, wedding and honeymoon photos is there any other documents to submit

Canada has not issues with arranged marriages,
but you need to prove that it is genuine...
and that all the ceremonies were performed according
to your traditions,
And if you have, include pictures of all the events....

You can print the pictures and describe each pictures
where was it taken, who is in the pictures, etc etc. etc.

Include
hotel bills,
airplane bills when you went to see and marry her,
all related to your relation will be needed,

too much is not enough... so don't worry about how much you include,

for the pictures,
make sure that you know by name everybody included, and your spouse also,
if they are your guests you are suppose to know them,

Also, try to include as many picture of your relation and with your families,

Each of you should write a story of your relation, and how it developed, with as many
details as possible,

For example, you said that even when it was an arranged marriage, you know her since childhood,
then you need to explain also the details of how you knew her and as many stories as possible,
The fact that you parents know her since her birth is also important....

Marriage within the family are also allowed, but not between brother and sister,
father and daughter, mother an son, for example...

that will give you a very solid package....
