I am planing to sponsor my spouse and dependent child by the first week of september. I need some information about the application and supporting document. Please help me if you can:

1. I was married with my husband when I applied for PR. So I included him as my spouse, in the family member but said will not accompany me in Canada. So I and our daughter got the PR and landed.

2.After landing I came back and started to live with him. We are married for the last 6.5 years.

3. My son born outside Canda after I became PR. So now I would like to sponsor them. What type of documents should I send with my application for my son and husband except birth certificate (Son) and Marriage certificate (Spouse) as proof of relationship?

... I'd suggest to read the Guides: (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/3999E3.asp)

Some documents and forms are specific for the country/region you're applying from. For example one of the Region guides states: "If you are being sponsored by your spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner, you must send evidence of the relationship between you and your sponsor such as wedding photos or proof that you are partners, letters between you and your sponsor, and telephone bills showing contact between you and your sponsor."

Make sure to select the appropriate guide for your region, example United States, South East Asia, East Europe, etc.: (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp#region) ......

Are you still a PR? How long ago did you land, and how long have you spent outside of Canada since then?

If you are a PR and not a Canadian citizen, you will have to come back to Canada and sponsor your husband and son from here.

Good proof that your relationship is genuine would include proof you two are living together: a lease or mortgage in both names, both names on the utility bills, joint bank accounts and credit cards. You could get a letter or affadavit from the landlord or neighbors stating that they know you two are living together. If you have named each other as beneficiaries on wills, insurance policies, and other documents, include proof of that. Photos of the two of you, and of you as a family would also help.

I landed on may 2009 and left canada. I am still a pr because I have to live in Canada two yrs out of five. Yah I know I have to come Canada to sponsor them. I will come by end of august. Thanks a lot for your reply.
