Hi,

I am 30 and married and have a 1 year daughter, my crs if I apply through Express entry alone(obviously declaring myself married) comes up as 430, if I apply for all 3 of us (me, my wife , and my daughter) is 422.

My about to hire consultant is suggesting me to apply with the 430 option, and sponsor my wife and kid once I get a bit settled in Canada.

Is the above fine and sponsoring wife and kid afterwards works? Is this pr easy to acquire?
Also will my wife be allowed to work?

Kindly help

You have to put them as unaccompanied dependents

It will take around a year to sponsor them after you become a PR. During this time, you will need to be living in Canada (you can take a few short trips to your country - but not very many and nothing more than three weeks long) and it's extremely unlikely they will be approved for visitor visas to Canada. So if you go this path, you need to be prepared to be separated from your family for most of a year. Your wife will be allowed to work once she is granted PR and comes to Canada.
