We live in Quebec and I know that we must demonstrate that over the past year and on wards, that we will sufficient financial resources at our disposal. I just wanted to clarify if the past year is referring to the past 12 months from the current date, or the duration of 2017. Thank you.

Your financial resources are only supplementary if you're inviting someone as a visitor (TRV, in particular).

Thank you for your reply. I received an email informing me that I was selected to sponsor my parents for their PR. We live in Quebec and in order to sponsor them, we must demonstrate that we have, over the past twelve months and will continue to have at our disposal sufficient financial resources for the duration of the undertaking. I want to know by 12 months they meant 12 moths from current date or NoA 2017?
