After RMO okays the medical,

MyCIC will show: Medical passed
E-Cas will show: Medical received

It hasn't been that long since medicals were sent that you need to worry. Have some patience!
Hi Rossei and other seniors on this forum

Could you please help with some advice on medicals?
My father-in-law had an emergency and needed to be hospitalized here in Ca. Now we got the MR and we don't know if CIC is going to access hospital records with detailed tests(blood, CT) and all that. Did anybody had that situation before?

Also did any of you had a parent with hypertension and palpitations? Is this a reason for refusal? Does this trigger a full cardiology investigation?
Can you provide more info on the medicals? Where they were done and how did they went?

We did not decide how to proceed with MR here or at the RMO. I'm thinking that if my in-laws require additional tests (cardiology or other specialist investigations) it will cost quite a lot.
Also if they are asked to provide any details they don't have records with them.

Schedule A question:

We have received the MR and PCC and Schedule A request for full details from 18 yo.
Did you mention hypertension/diabetes/operations in Schedule A? I'm not sure how much detail is needed. Same as in a health questionnaire?
How did you guys completed that?

Congrats!

Re: your question, I think they can as long as the Principal Applicant lands first. CIC states in OP 2 (Processing Members of the Family Class) that:

17. Procedure: Issuing visas
When all requirements are met, a visa may be issued.

Attach counselling information as appropriate.

Explain in writing that all family members must travel with the principal applicant, or follow before the expiry date on their visas. Family members, who arrive in Canada before the principal applicant, will not become permanent residents.

Ensure that the names of non-accompanying family members are included on the visa of the principal applicant and state they have also undergone examination, if applicable. (See Non- accompanying family members, Section 5.10 above, and Inadmissibility and non-accompanying family members, Section 5.11 above.)

BTW, you didn't update the SS recently. When did you receive Medical/PCC request?

Please help!

I received the request for medicals, schedule A complete from 18yo and PCC to be done in 30 days.
I have the following questions:

1. Did you translate the PCC, scanned it and send by email or used courier services? If courier which one did you use?

2. In schedule A, question: "Have you ever had any serious disease?", did you list the same things as in the medical history questionnaire at the medical exam?

3. Did anybody have any furtherance for ME?

I just received PPR letter from CIC. However my parents are visiting the United States and will stay there for three months. In other words, they are neither in the home country (China) nor in Canada for the next three months. Where should they send their passports then? Could they send the passports to Canadian Visa application center in the US? Do I need to confirm with CIC before doing so?

Any suggestion or advise would be highly appreciated! Thank you!

Congrats!

I'm not too sure if CIC (US) would stamp the passport with PR Visa if it's processed somewhere else. You need to confirm this with CIC. If Call Centre Agents can't give you a solid answer, contact your LVO directly for clarification.

BTW, are you in the 2015 Timeline spreadsheet? If you're, would you mind updating your info? Thanks.
