Application dispatched on 2nd Jan via UPS and Application received by Stephanie on 5nd Jan at 10:00am.

CC charged on 29th Jan. I called TD and they informed me CC was charged around 2:50 pm.

I lost all hopes and all of sudden I saw my CC got charged. Very happy.

I just registered for an account to share the good news.

Application sent Jan 2 by UPS, Delivered on Jan 5, signed by SHEELA at 8:13AM EST

Around lunch time, I called CIC customer service. They confirmed that my application is in their system, and the lady even gave me a temporary file number. I think I got into the 5000 cap. This afternoon, I saw my credit card available credit dropped by 1100 (today is Jan 29).

Want to thank those who shared the information, and good luck to those who are still hoping.

Now that our credit cards are being charged, how long is the average wait time before our parents arrive here?

Congratulations, Tim! You are the first one who got his certified cheque cashed. It is amazing they cashed it on 13th....only 7 businesss days after they recieved it. I am following this forum since day one. I am very fed up with how this whole system works. However, hopefully more good news will come!

Congrats to those CC charged.
I am so anxious! I sent in a certified cheque as I had bad experience with CC payment last year. I checked with my bank on Monday and the cheque hasn't been cashed yet.
I will check with my bank again this coming Monday.

My application arrived Jan 5 at 8.48 AM via Purolator.

CIC call agent confirmed my application was received on Jan 5 at 11am and was deemed complete. No CC Charged yet

I think my available credit has just decreased by $550 around 5 pm today. Never been happier for losing $$$. It's a TD Visa and it will take some time to post the actual transaction. I said "I think" because I used this CC for my day-to-day expenses and my online record is always lagging.

Anyway, I'm sharing this info with you guys first even before my family knows about it. Wish everyone in this forum get their CC charged ASAP.
