My wife have got her SA yesterday, and her file has been transferred to Delhi, and this morning she has got an email saying( Standard format for everyone?) All the forms/with the package, + Some Originals+PCC. RPF and a Medical ( that will requested in second email, which she didn't get yet, maybe will get soon?)

& My case has been transferred to Ottawa, and no further news

@shampy2009 can I please ask you, the SA arrived by email or by mail?
I'm asking since I've got my SA by mail, and the file was transferred to Tel Aviv, I'm worried further communication will go there as well by mail or there is still a chance to receive email communication.

Do you guys know any PGP 2014 or 2015 applicant who has submitted Option C printouts of three MOST recent taxation years (that meets the income requirements) and has been approved/rejected for sponsorship?
I mean lets say a 2015 PGP applicant has submitted 2012, 2013 and 2014 proof of income instead of 2011, 2012 and 2013.

I know 2014 option-c was not ready by the time of applying but other proofs were provided and option-c was submitted after receiving additional doc request for option-c of three years. AOR has also been received

I have not heard anything yet on my case. I had put my email address as means of communication. I had a change of address in between and really worried if they had sent a mail to old address. I called CIC and they are not willing to look up anything for me.

Both SAs were through mail for me.
Ecas is not updated yet.

Officialy got SA letter in the mail today. For reference my package was delivered by Fedex Jan 5 at 11am

Most likely, your E-Cas won't get updated with "Sponsorship Approved". At least, I never saw one for any case from 2014 to 2016. It can vary from "Application Received" to "In-Process" with extra lines added inside each status from time to time.

CPC-M is acting super fast dealing with 20,000 applications (~40,000 people) from 2014, 2015 & 2016 along with whatever remaining from 2009-11, resulting a lot of miscommunications. It's very unfortunate for some whose applications have perhaps been approved, but never got any confirmation. But once the PR file is transferred to LVO, they will contact the parents/grandparents to ask for Medical/PCC/Extra Docs. So, everyone should be prepared for this step:

- Change address if you have to
- Gather docs (I've listed all the docs that LVO can ask for in the SS)
- Prepare for Medical/PCC
- Renew passport if you have to
- Prepare to pay RPRF fees

You will see that, as of March 2016, there are 56,156 PERSONS (including dependents) waiting in the inventory for parents visas. The allocated number of parents visa for 2016 is 20,000. At the end of this year there will be approximate 36,000 persons waiting for parents visas (that includes new sponsorship applications for 2016). If the 2017 admission level remains at 20,000 minimum, it is very likely 2014 and 2015 batches will get PR Visa next year in the first half of 2017.

My parents file was forwarded to Hong Kong on May16. And there is no further news since then.. It is over one month now.. Is that normal? I am starting getting worried..

Sorry Rossei, I didn't have a chance to visit the SS, however was planning to do over the weekend.thanks anyway for maintaining the record. just new update, this morning, my wife she have got another email from Delhi about Medical, that contains medical form as well .. needs to submit within 30 days.

I am submitting upfront RPRF payment to this office. It wont make any difference in terms of timing I don't think but I just want everything to be well gathered at one place. Will keep track of SVO requesting medical exams and will do upfront medical and PCC as well.

This summer they will prioritize Family Class that could include Parents sponsorship as well. Canada probably won't meet the quota for economic immigrants for 2016 mainly due to economic downturn so there could be a possibility that the remaining quota will be used to get rid of FC backlogs worldwide.
