Sponsoring Parents in 2015

We sent our application to sponsor our parents in Jan 2015. Just heard back from CPC-M for additional documents (original copy of option C printout). Seems like these applications have finally started moving forward.

Congrats!! Do you remember your time of application received at CIC? I am trying to ascertain if you were the Jan 2nd AM or PM batch. Thanks.

I applied for my Grandparent for year 2016 .
On March 24 my visa card showing payment made for " CIC CPR - CIC RTC MISSISSAUGA "
But since that day I didn't received any e-mail or mail confirming my application.

You're in wrong thread. And I saw you post same thing in 2016 thread where it has been answered. Anyway, keep patience. You should be happy that you made it in 2016.

Someone from Chinese forum, also applied in 2015, got document request email.
They're required to submitted parents marriage certificate, not Option C though.
I'm positive mine is on its way~~Our application was received Jan 2 around 10am.

Btw if we're asked to provide Option C, is CRA online My Account printouts acceptable?

Last year I changed my email address in change of address/information column in CIC site. Not sure if it changed it or not. I called CIC agent last week to find out about instructions of changing email address. She sent me a following email. I followed the link but could not find change of email form. Can someone please help me. thank you.

Good. I believe CIC put 2014 and 2015 together and trying to get the sponsorship approved before the end of year for all of you!!

Hi friends, I have a question or concern. CIC should be familiar with Alberta job market due to oil crisis. Many of the applicant's parent application have been accepted based on their last 3 years income but what about continue to meet income requirements until the case is finalized if some one got laid off due to Alberta crisis.

But shouldn't they only ask for the 2015 from you?
2011,2012,2013 is what you've submitted them in the original application, why they are asking for it twice?

Originally I sent them notice of assessment for 2011,2012,2013.
The letter that I received last night(e-mail) said that they need option C printout for 11,12,13 in order to proceed my application.
In brakes it says that option C is different then notice of assessment .
Also they wrote the phone number I have to call(waiting for them to open)and the address where I need to send it.
Also,on the bottom on the letter they sent me a link for faster service to upload the documents.

I don't think CIC will ask for NOA/OptionC from 2014-16 applicants for the years proceeding. The reasons that I can think of:
- Before 2014, it only required to give 1 year's NOA. So, CIC wanted more proof that the sponsor is still financially capable when it went to processing and hence asked for NOA's from later years.
- Furthermore, post-2011 applicants will experience faster processing for quota system/less backlogs/different processing. This won't leave too much gap from the time CIC received the app and started processing the case. So, it eliminates any doubt of not meeting MNI for the whole duration.

Having said that I may be wrong. They may still ask for 2015-16 Option C for other reasons (i.e. significant family size increase). So, it's handy to pre-order them from CRA.

Rossei, some 2015 applications, like CC got charged on Jan 08, have already been approved for sponsorship, and now transferred to LVO. Now LP is much faster than CP for family class immigration.
