Hi

Thank you all for the answers.

I do have another question, please.

On the Form Application to Sponsor , Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking (IMM 1344) (I know there will be new forms to complete next year) the first question is: If you are found ineligible to sponsor indicate what you want to: withdraw your sponsorship application and get your money back less $75 fees or proceed with the application for permanent residence - fee will be retained.
What should I answer? What is the difference to let them keep the fee and see if my mom can get a permanent residence status after if I will not be accepted?

Once again thank you for your answers.
I would suggest selecting "no" to proceed with your application, if they even offer that selection on the "new" forms. It seems to me your estimate of LICO + 30% is (ahem) a little low. I'm sure I've seen PMM quote numbers somewhat higher than that (circumstances of those posts I do not recall however), perhaps for two parents rather than one.

Here are the family sponsorship income requirements as of 2013: http://www.canadavisa.com/necessary-income-levels-for-family-sponsorship.html

Family size of 4 (sponsor + spouse + 2 parents, no kids) would be $56,280.
