Hello, I have been in Canada for 5 months now.
I was reading to get information about family sponsorship.
I got engaged right before I came to Quebec. Hopefully I will be getting married after 2 years from now.
I want to sponsor my mother, and my future wife of course after we get married back in Lebanon.
Which one should go first? I think if i got married and sponsored my wife first, the requirements to sponsor my mother will become more difficult? should I sponsor my mother before my marriage? or is it better to do it after i sponsor my wife?
I understand that I cannot think of sponsoring after at least one year from now. Thank god I already have a job.
What are exactly the financial requirements to sponsor my wife? and what are the ones for my mother? which requirements change if I sponsored one before the other and how? Eventually, what is the best thing to do?

Remember, I live in Quebec.

You can't actually sponsor your mother at this time. CIC put a halt to parent/grandparent sponsorship applications late last year and this halt is expected to last two years.

It will actually remain until the end of 2013, the Parents sponsorship halt. (The exact time when I start to have some respectable income)
I will be getting married in summer 2015.
Should I start my mother's application right before I get married? or after I sponsor my wife and she comes to Canada?

You need to look at this again when it is closer to the time of your wedding. They could make some changes on the program to sponsor parents or keep it closed for a bit longer. You will have to wait and see when that is announced before you can make your decision.

I think it's going to be difficult for any of us to offer an opinion now.

When CIC begins accepting parent sponsorship applications again, most of us expect the rules to be changed at least somewhat (if not significantly). I think you'll need to wait for these new rules to be released before making a decision.

Thank you all for your help :)
I know I am thinking of it too early, but I usually tend to do an early planning for things.
I guess it was too early for this one :P
