hi all

i just moved to Canada 3 months ago i have PR i was wondering if i can sponsor my 3 sisters to move to canada they are 16/17/18 they are orphan and i can take care off all their bills and needs can you please expaln to me the process.

Yup, sponsor them ASAP before they turn 18. Trust me i know how it feels when your family is left behind and every morning you wake up with fear that what if that child might get rape or something happen. Not many people understand this.

When we came to Canada, our consultant mess up whole case for my sis, he did not apply before she turn 22 (at that time 22 would consider as dependent). Now, we r paying the ultimate price.

1. Note the OP has only been in Canada for 3 months, so s/he won't be sponsoring anyone until the LICO is met from Canadian sources. It is quite possible that the 17 year will "age out" before the application is submitted.

Oh Sorry, i didnt read that he has been only in 3 months. I over look as i am at work.

Won't his pay stub etc suffice his LICO? I think I know what you mean, they need full year income. But I think OP can try to file with explanation..not sur IRCC will accept it. But i think its worth try as 17yr old will be 18 soon.

1, Nope, it is pretty black and white, have to meet the LICO at the time of sponsorship. CIC won't accept that the sponsor will continue to work and meet the LICO in the future.

OP should start by going through the process of adopting the minor siblings in their own country. As previously mentioned it will likely be a while until they can prove they earned above LICO. They would want to try and lock in their file before the 2nd sibling turns 18 if possible. Would work with a lawyer.
