Hi guys, does anybody have any experience in sponsoring your Filipina wife and her son into Canada?
I heard that the Philippines will not allow any children out of the country!
and that Canada does not like to allow young women into the country (my wife is 21 and I am 52)
I would appreciate it if anybody would pass experience would share their experience

Thank's ;D

Canada has no problem allowing young women into the country. However they may have a problem with such a large age gap between you and your wife. CIC will be suspicious that your wife is only using you to get PR status for her and her son.

To overcome this you will need to show ample proofs of a legitimate relationship and marriage and explain very thoroughly your common interests and the development of your relationship. So hopefully you dated for a reasonable time (like a year or so) before getting married, and hopefully you had a normal sized wedding with a typical ceremony and lots of friends/family present.

If you dated only a quick time before getting married and had something like a civic marriage registration only, I would expect a very long and tough process to get her and her son's PR approved.

You will need to show she has full custody of her son and/or get permission from the father before the son will be allowed to leave.
