Hi Everyone,
I have been with my husband for 7 years but we've only been married since March 2013. We were both 16 when we started dating and have only been independent for about a year now. We have never lived together or shared any real assets together since we were both dependents and living with our parents ( we bought and exchanged gifts though). My application was received by CIC on Sept. 27 2013 and I was approved for sponsorship on Oct. 25. Since then I didn't get any feed back from anyone.I doubled back and checked through the papers before I mailed them to make sure all questions were answered or have N/A on them. I have a couple questions regarding my application:
1. Is it true that if I forgot to place N/A as an answer to any of the questions that don't apply to me, that the High Commission WILL mail it back to me for re-submission? or is this a "MIGHT?"
2.I sent phone records, wedding photos and other misc. photos throughout our relationship as proof of a ligit relationship but in my opinion the picture quality isn't good. Can this affect the decision?
3.When my Dad sponsored me to Canada in 2012 I put "single" as my relationship status because (between married, engaged, common law, conjugal) it was the most suitable option there. Will that conflict with the information that I have provided in my application and cause issues?
4. Will my application status change to "in process" before they review it and find something wrong or will it stay at "application recieved" if they do?
5.If everything is a ok with my application around what time should I be hearing from them?

This is pretty normal. The longest wait for most people is the time from sponsor approval to the next feedback. It has only been 3 months for you, a pretty short time. During this time, the application will sit in "application received". even for the faster processed cases, a 6 month wait is normal (actually that is considered "fast").

I'm sure all is fine with your application. Just need to be patient.

Were you still "single" on the day you landed in Canada as a Permanent Resident?

Does the fact that the medical and police record was also done and submitted change anything with regards to your recommended wait time?
-on a related note thanks for your reply

It certainly helps. But like I mentioned before, 3 months is not a long time. You will have at least a few more months of waiting.
