Hi,
I am pregnant and the baby is due on Jan 2013. I am a permanent resident of Canada for nine months only. I only have a temporary part time position, but my husband has a good job and together we meet the LICO income criteria. So, I want to sponsor my mom to Canada on a Temporary Resident visa to help me take care of the newborn. My concerns regarding the TR visa application process are as follows:

1. Do we require to provide confirmation of air tickets or travel itinerary?

2. Do we need to provide medical insurance for my mom during her stay?

3. Since she is widow and not working, what ties to the home country can she provide? She does not have a son and my sister is still in my home country. She has a house on rent for income and she is volunteering in a healthcare organization. Are these sufficient ties to prove that she will return after her visa expires?

4. As a proof of our income, do we need to provide just the pay slips or we need to attach original letter from the employer stating our title, job description and salary?

Please note that I am not applying for super visa application, it is for a temporary resident visa (tourist visa).

Thanks :)
